1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jinn website at get.jinn.today and your purchase or pre-order of the Jinn HoloBox device ("Product"). By placing a pre-order or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

2. Pre-Order Terms

When you place a pre-order for the Jinn HoloBox, you agree to the following:

• A deposit of $49 USD is charged immediately to reserve your device.
• Your payment method will be saved securely by Stripe for the purpose of charging the remaining balance when your device is ready to ship.
• The remaining balance will be charged automatically when your order is prepared for shipment. You will receive notice before the charge is processed.
• The total price depends on your batch: $299 (Batch 2) or $349 (Batch 3).
• Estimated shipping timeline is Winter 2026. This is an estimate and may change.

3. Payment Authorization

By completing your pre-order, you authorize Jinn to save your payment method and initiate a charge for the remaining balance at a later date without requiring you to be present on the site. This is a merchant-initiated transaction. You may update your payment method or cancel your pre-order by contacting us before the remaining balance is charged.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• You may cancel your pre-order at any time before the remaining balance is charged. Your $49 deposit will be refunded in full.
• After your device has shipped, you have a 60-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

5. Product Description

The Jinn HoloBox is an AI smart display with a 5-inch IPS touchscreen, quad-core ARM processor (RK3566), on-device wake word detection, and runs Linux/Armbian. The device is open source. Users may bring their own LLM API keys or subscribe to Jinn Cloud ($9/month). Specifications are subject to change before shipment.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping costs, customs duties, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, carriers, or other factors outside our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jinn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Product. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify pre-order customers of material changes via email. Continued use of the site or Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
